Private Lessons - French

Café au lait, bon voyage, joie de vivre, concierge, négligé….you already know more French than you thought because French is the lingua franca of culture including art, cuisine, dance, and fashion.
More importantly, for Canadians and new comers to the province of Quebec, French is essential because it is one of the two official languages of Canada. French is also an official working language in dozens of international organizations, including the United Nations, International Olympic Committee, and the International Red Cross.

Qualified staff members test your language skills and create a course outline appropriate to your individual needs. We organize the curriculum to meet your needs for a general language course, a business-oriented language course, or a program specifically tailored to the communication demands you seek.

Private Lessons

Schedule classes during the day or evenings and according to your availability. The content of the course will be determined with the teacher in order to meet your specific needs and to help target problem areas.

The classes can be of one hour or more, but in general we recommend a minimum of 11⁄2 hours per private lesson, twice a week for a minimum of 20 lessons (10 weeks). Accelerated classes are available for students who wish to study more hours per week.

Semi-Private Lessons

These lessons are for two people who are tested at the same language level and who have the same goals in mind. Course content varies widely depending on the students’ needs.
